education, policy connections will be addressed in several sessions involving the Institute for the Advancement of Social
Work Research at the 25th anniversary BPD conference in Destin. Three

Partnerships to Integrate Evidence-Based Mental Health Practices Into Social
Work Education and Research is available on the IASWR website, www.iaswresearch.org. The report includes definitions of evidence-based practices,
strategies for university/agency partnerships to promote use of evidence-based practices, models for teaching evidence-based
mental health practices and recommended next steps related to education, partnerships, doctoral education and research.
IASWR
was a co-sponsor of the June 2007 symposium, Evidence-Based Practice in Child Welfare in the Context of Cultural Competency
- Proceedings, sponsored by the Gamble-Skogmo Chair in Child Welfare and Youth Policy at the University
of Minnesota and Casey Family Programs. The report
